"Cadillac Del Caballero"
Back in the day, George Barris and Barris Kustom designed a full modification kit for 1967 Cadillac Eldorados. The mod kit was the ideal compliment to an already popular car, giving people another option at dealerships. The modification included: a landau half-top and irons, kustom grille, sunroof, aircraft interior lamps, a Derham-limousine type window in back, chrome moldings, kustom paint and deluxe wheel covers… and became known as the Cadillac Del Caballero.
George's son, Brett Barris, has decided it's about time we bring one of these originals back to the shop. So we are now in the process of mechanically restoring this 1967 Cadillac Del Caballero back to its original modified condition, so keep checking back to see how it unfolds.
